On August 19, 2025, TEAMS returned to Thammasat University to welcome 56 first-year students from the BJM (Bachelor of Arts in Journalism) program for a fun and meaningful team-building session.
The goal was simple: help students connect with each other and their new university while discovering their own strengths. Along the way, we focused on our core values — teamwork, communication, problem-solving, creativity, confidence, and friendships.
We started with Section Shuffle, where students had to make quick choices from creative prompts, a perfect way to break the ice with lots of laughter. Then came Monster Monument, a problem-solving challenge that showed how important it is to adapt and work with whatever team you have. To wrap up, we launched into a Scavenger Hunt across campus, blending energy, teamwork, and creativity as students solved clues together.

What stood out most about this group was their energy and enthusiasm. The students were eager to participate, eager to connect, and eager to learn and that made all the difference. The session highlighted how teamwork and creativity can guide them through challenges, how communication and problem-solving can strengthen their paths.
At TEAMS, we believe these lessons go beyond the classroom. Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving are skills that will serve them not just in university, but in life.
A big thank you to Professor Sascha Funk, Head of Media Studies, for once again trusting TEAMS with this important start to the year. It’s always an honor to be part of these first steps, full of laughter, learning, and new connections.
